Awareness and Safety measures on COVID 19 at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 11-06- 2020

A programme was organized for creating awareness and safety measures (wearing mask and gloves) to be taken against the COVID-19 pandemic among the teaching, non-teaching staff including outsourced personnel of Agricultural College, Sircillaon 11.06.2020.Mr. T. Arunbabu, OISA has briefed about the present situation on Covid-19 and the chances is increased of the situation are obvious. He also shared his views on the prevention measures for covid-19. Mr. J. Naveen, TA (Plant Bio chemistry)opined that using of soap /alcohol is better compared to sanitizer for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Later the Associate Dean distributed Gloves to all the teaching, non-teaching and out sourced personnel of the College and instructed to wear masks and gloves in the office. He stressed on protection measures to be taken by all the staff against to COVID-19, i.e., maintenanceof social distancing, washing of hands regularly, avoid touching of nose, mouth and ear with dirty hands, when coughing& sneezing, discard the spoiled tissues immediately in to closed bin and cover the nose and mouth with flexed elbow when you cough and sneeze..etc. The programme is ended with vote of thanks delivered by OISA.
